Potentially interesting but being a conference abstract, information here is too limited to judge. It is not clear where the improvement came from. Is it from better Ewald sphere correction (i.e. deconvolution of two mixed waves) or accounting for multiple scattering or both? Why the resolution at FSC(haf maps) = 0.143 improved a lot but the resolution at FSC(model, map) = 0.5 not? Did they check the method does not introduce systematic bias? In Figure 1, they should have made it clear that they are talking propagation within the sample; Further down, conventional methods can handle Fresnel propagation as linear projection + CTF (defocus).
