I often see people use "don't blame me, others including you have similar problems"-kind of "logic" to defend themselves but this is absurd. It's better to criticize each other than keeping silent until everyone becomes perfect (, which never happens).

Eventually, students have different teaching styles that serve them the most. Instead of promoting one style and replacing others, various methods of learning should be made available. Some might even want to study themselves without taking any lectures. Of course one teacher cannot provide all but we can combine efforts via the internet.
